Es wurde in den letzten 15 Jahren hart daran gearbeitet, die kleineren Verteilerleitungen zu ersetzen, doch nun bereiten auch die gr\u00f6\u00dferen Hauptleitungen Sorgen. Ein Bruch in nur einer der Hauptleitungen kann tausende Kunden von der Wasserversorgung abschneiden, f\u00fcr ernsthafte \u00dcberflutungen sorgen und Verkehrsrouten unterbrechen.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/artec-3d-scanner-fitnesstest-fuer-alte-wasserleitungen\/thameswater-artec-3d-scanner\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8799\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8799\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/ThamesWater-ARtec-3d-scanner.jpg\" alt=\"ThamesWater-ARtec-3d-scanner\" width=\"720\" height=\"478\" \/><\/a><\/p><p>Dr. Tim Evans, Leiter f\u00fcr die Modernisierung des Wassernetzes, erkl\u00e4rt, wie neue Technologie den Weg f\u00fcr eine nachhaltigere Erneuerung bereitet. \u201eEs ist kostspielig Rohre zu ersetzen, deshalb m\u00fcssen wir uns zun\u00e4chst auf die gr\u00f6\u00dften Risikof\u00e4lle konzentrieren.\u201c, sagt er. \u201eEine gro\u00dfe Herausforderung bei Gusseisen ist, dass es ungleichm\u00e4\u00dfig rostet und die Korrosion schwer zu erkennen ist. Traditionell haben wir die Korrosion einer Wasserleitung ermittelt, indem wir ein kurzes St\u00fcck Rohr herausschnitten, es sandreinigten, um den Rost zu entfernen, und anschlie\u00dfend in Handarbeit die resultierenden Krater z\u00e4hlten. Jedoch ist das Entfernen von Rohrabschnitten st\u00f6rend f\u00fcr Kunden und Verkehrsteilnehmer, und au\u00dferdem kostspielig f\u00fcr Thames Water.<\/p><p>Um das Entfernen von Rohrteilen zu vermeiden, begann Thames Water zerst\u00f6rungsfreie Werkstoffpr\u00fcfungstechnologie (engl. \u201enon-destructive testing\u201c oder NDT), wie beispielsweise Ultraschall, einzusetzen. \u201eDas funktioniert \u00e4hnlich wie bei Untersuchungen mit Schwangeren, nur dass wir uns Korrosion und keine Babies angucken!\u201c, sagt Dr. Evans. In Hinblick auf die Zukunft \u201eist das Anliegen, ein Ger\u00e4t in eine Wasserleitung zu jagen, das NDT-Zustandsdaten f\u00fcr die gesamte Anlage, und nicht lediglich f\u00fcr kurze Rohrteile, ermitteln kann.\u201c<\/p><p>Oberfl\u00e4chenscanner helfen Thames Water zu verstehen, was verschiedene NDT-Werkzeuge messen k\u00f6nnen, und ein Konica-Minolta Vivid-System wurde eingesetzt, um Korrosion in Rohren mit kleinem Durchmesser (4-8\u201c) abzubilden. Allerdings ist dieses System ungeeignet f\u00fcr Rohre \u00fcber 18\u201c. F\u00fcr gro\u00dfe Rohre wird ein Handscanner ben\u00f6tigt, daher bewertete Thames Water Marktangebote und lud verschiedene Anbieter an, ihre Ausr\u00fcstung vorzuf\u00fchren. Nach der ersten dieser Vorf\u00fchrungen arbeiteten\u00a0Patrick Thorn&amp; Co., Thames Waters Artec-Spezialisten vor Ort, mit dem Unternehmen zusammen. So konnte gezeigt werden, dass\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/produkt\/artec-eva-3d-scanner\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">Artec Eva\u2122<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0die ben\u00f6tigten Leistungskriterien erf\u00fcllt. Thames Water kam zum Schluss, dass Eva die kosteneffizienteste Option zur Erf\u00fcllung der eigenen Anforderung sei. Nach dem Erwerb von Eva\u2122 assistierte Patrick Thorn der mit dem Scanner arbeitenden Belegschaft durch eine umfassende Ausbildung in der Nutzung des Systems sowie durch Heranziehung von zus\u00e4tzlicher Software, mit der noch detailliertere Analysen der mit Eva ermittelten Daten durchgef\u00fchrt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/p><div id=\"attachment_8801\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/artec-3d-scanner-fitnesstest-fuer-alte-wasserleitungen\/leitung-artec-3d-scanner\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8801\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8801\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/leitung-Artec-3d-scanner.jpg\" alt=\"3d scanner artec\" width=\"720\" height=\"478\" \/><\/a><\/div><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/artec-3d-scanner-fitnesstest-fuer-alte-wasserleitungen\/3d-scan-artec\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8800\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.3d-model.com\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/3d-scan-artec.jpg\" alt=\"artec 3d scanner\" width=\"720\" height=\"478\" \/><\/a><\/p><p>Seit der Lieferung von Eva\u2122 arbeitet Alex Rainer im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts von Thames Water und der Universit\u00e4t Surrey an einer passenden Methode, mit der verl\u00e4ssliche 3D-Modelle von Rohren gebaut werden k\u00f6nnen: Eva\u2122 und seine Software soll dabei mit visuellen Texturen f\u00fcr das Rohr sowie einem motorisierten Rotationssystem kombiniert werden. In<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artec3d.com\/de\/software\/artec-studio\">Artec Studio 10.1<\/a><\/span><\/span>, der k\u00fcrzlich aktualisierten Systemsoftware, ist die Erstellung des Polygonnetzes durch einer verbesserte Texturnachverfolgung w\u00e4hrend der Datenaufnahme noch einmal stabilisiert worden. Au\u00dferdem wird st\u00e4rker die Multiprozessor-Kapazit\u00e4t der im Projekt genutzten Computer genutzt, so dass die Verarbeitung der Rohdaten in wesentlich k\u00fcrzerer Zeit vollendet wird. Der Vergleich der Modelle vor und nach der Korrosionsentfernung erm\u00f6glicht es, den Korrosionsgrad mit hohen Genauigkeit abzubilden.
